Building upon the unexpected success of his new endeavor in the burgeoning industry of theme parks, Walt Disney looked east towards the Sunshine State, and set about building a new world of entertainment and amusement. What resulted was a massive community of various theme parks, hotels, and organizations that acts more like a self-governing city than an amusement park.
