The leaves change, the weather cools, and the Finger Lakes Region comes alive with colors. Head to one of the many state parks in our fine region and experience the symphony of changes. Not sure which path to take? Look closely at the sugar maple leaf and see that every vein is a trail from the many state parks we have! Hamlin Beach, Letchworth, Watkin’s Glen, Stony Brook, Robert Tremon, Taughannock Falls, Keuka Lake, Fillmore Glen, and Buttermilk Falls are all represented, as well as the Finger Lakes trail itself. And why the sugar maple leaf? On the national stage, Vermont is number one in maple syrup production. This is probably not surprising. What might be surprising, is who holds the #2 spot: New York.
